  13. I hope someone can help me out.

  15. I have an A500 with a Derringer 030 inside. The Derringer is the 50mhz model
  16. with a 50mhz 882 installed. Also, an 8 meg SIMM is in place.

  18. Besides that I have a Supra500XP controller and a SupraRAM500RX with one and
  19. two megs respectively.

  21. The problem is that suddenly I get strange Gurus (Well, not gurus
  22. exactly...software failures. Oh, almost forgot...I'm have a 3.1 rom installed)

  24. The error numbers I have been getting are:
  25. 8000 000A
  26. 8000 000B
  27. 8000 0003
  28. 8000 0006

  30. and just once I got:

  34. It seems that the first two indicate a hardware problem but I don't understand
  35. how that could be. The only time the errors seem to come up is when a new
  36. screen attempts to open and when DaFTP attempts to display a RECENT list in an
  37. AmigaGuide file. (According to the Failure, it's the amigaguide.datatype that
  38. fails in this case)

  40. I have reseated every chip that is in a socket with no luck. I have completely
  41. reinstalled 3.1 with no luck.

  43. What else..hmmm...The problems seems to exist no matter what combination of
  44. caches and burst modes I set the 030 to.

  46. Is this a plot by AT so that I go out and buy a new Amiga or what?
  47. It's driving me nuts so if anyone has anything concrete please respond here or
  48. in email.
